If you need a Heavy-Duty Winch Strap or a Replacement Strap with a Hook, USA Ratchet has exactly what you need to get the job done.
The normal length for Winch Straps is 27 feet and 30 feet long pieces of tie down webbing that will secure most average sized cargo pieces. However, sometimes a cargo load may require a custom sized winch strap in order to get the job done right. Truck Tie-Downs can be customized to fit just about any length that is required.
USA Ratchet has been manufacturing Ratchet Straps and other Tie Down Straps for the Trucking Industry over the last 21 years. Our company has gathered the experience needed to create a custom-made strap no matter what your load may desire to be fully secured.

Winch Straps are made from high-quality polyester tie down webbing that is made to stretch very little, this helps keep your load secure or from coming loose. The polyester blend that is used in our tie down webbing is made from a blend that also helps to fight against UV rays from the sun that could cause sun damage or create weakening spots over time, as well as helping to prevent against mold and mildew.
When finding the perfect tie down strap it is extremely important to match the correct weight of your cargo with the correctly rated tie down straps. You want to always make sure that your cargo is secured with straps that will not break during shipping. Loads that are lost during transpiration can cost transportation companies millions every year in claims, lost customers, and settlements.
You will want to refer to the Working Load Limit (WLL) of each Winch Strap to determine if it will be strong enough to secure your load. A working load limit takes 1/3 of the breaking strength or ultimate point of failure for the tie down strap to be rated at. An example of this would be a 10,000-pound breaking strength would result in a 3,333 lb. working load limit.
The main reason behind the working load limit being only 1/3 of the breaking strength is due to wiggle room to allow for hard braking, sudden lane changes, or other shifts in weight that could damage your cargo. The most important rule to follow is never exceeding the straps Working Load Limit when you are transporting any kind of cargo whether it is extremely light or extremely heavy.
These ratings were put in place by the Department of Transportation (DOT) in order to keep you and other motorists safe.
