Threading a SPIN FREE Ratchet Strap:
1. Take the loose end (or the long end) of the polyester strap and insert it into the SPIN FREE mandrel of the ratchet.
2. Pull the strap through the slot of the mandrel and then back up and over the mandrel towards you. Pull the strap until there is just a little slack left.
3. Grab the handle of the ratchet and start to move it back and forth until the webbing starts to wind around the mandrel. (It is very important to have your webbing wind around the mandrel 3 or 4 times. The mandrel is what holds the capacity of the ratchet strap.)
4. After the strap has secured your load be sure to push down on the handle all the way until it locks into position.
